Nodal gaps from local interactions in Sr<sub>2</sub>RuO<sub>4</sub>

Sr$_2$RuO$_4$ has been under intensive scrutiny over the past years after new NMR measurements unveiled that superconducting state might be a spin singlet. One of best order parameter candidates in light these experiments is chiral d-wave with $d_{xz}+id_{yz}$ symmetry. This overlooked given strong two-dimensional character normal electronic structure. Recently, phenomenological proposal based on local interactions three-dimensional structure showed can stable once momentum-dependent spin-orbit coupling properly taken into account. Here we discuss origin nodes and dips this as inherited from Hamiltonian, showing nodal gap emerge out purely connect presence fitness measure.
